Joey
"Smooth" Jarosz
|
An east coast transplant, Joey came to California with dreams of sun, surf, and
a shiny new Corvette. Growing up in the shadows of the famous Englishtown
Raceway Park, Joey knew only of drag racing. After buying his first corvette he
was soon introduced to concepts such as making turns, breaking, and apexes.
His autocross career started on a rainy day in 2001 when he attended his first
event. The intention was to learn more about how the car's various traction
control computers really worked in a safe environment. Little did Joey know that
he would quickly become addicted to this new found form of racing.
Want to know how to make Joey go faster? Tell him the story of the tortoise and
the hare, letting him know how he reminds you of Mortimer which is the tortoise
in that child's fable. He heard that story once too often and decided to
leave everybody in the dust after that.
